Peter J Blok, PhD
Managing Partner
Peter Blok has over 35 years of experience in the life science industry. His career started in R&D / process development and continued through with executive positions in manufacturing & supply chain operations. Over his
Peter’s professional experience includes VP Global Supply Chain for Celgene Corporation, VP & GM of Invensys Life Sciences Business Unit and Director North American Operations Planning at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. He holds Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from NYU and has formal business training from NYU Stern and The Wharton School of Business. Peter holds a CSCP supply chain certification, a CLTD logistics certification and a CPIM production management certification from APICS. He is also a certified APICS instructor. In addition, he is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a PMP project management certification from PMI.

Rao P. Parthalanka, MS

Rao Potharlanka has over 35 years of operations experience. During his career, Mr. Potharlanka acquired hands-on experience in manufacturing of generic, ethical pharma, biopharma and biotechnology products. Mr. Potharlanka has first-hand experience in manufacturing, technology transfer, material management, engineering & facilities management, warehousing and production planning areas. Mr. Potharlanka professional experience includes the head of manufacturing at Novartis (Sandoz) East Hanover, Vice President of manufacturing operations at Chiron Corp. at Emeryville, CA (Biotech company) where he lead manufacturing, material management and engineering operations, and head of Technical Operations at SkyePharma Inc. Currently as a consultant assisting troubled companies with FDA, including warning letter and consent decree remediation activities. His experience includes implementation of several multimillion-dollar projects in Pharma, Biopharma and Biotech areas – Plant and equipment, GMP facilities construction, expansion and retooling.
Mr. Potharlanka holds a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from Nagpur University, India; and an M.S. degree in Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ.

Wiliam E. McKeen, MChE

Bill McKeen has 41 years experience in pharmaceuticals including a successful 39-year career at Pfizer. He has hands-on experience in manufacturing operations for
Mr. McKeen’s professional experience includes several positions in plant operations management, site lead for planning, construction, and startup of Pfizer’s first plant in Puerto Rico, Area Management positions in Latin America based in Miami and Country Management responsibilities in Latin America. For the past 15 years, Mr. McKeen was head of Global Drug Plant IT systems where he was responsible for overall systems in over 90 plants. Mr. McKeen is specifically responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the ERP system used throughout the Pfizer organization. Mr. McKeen holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University
